The Shannon Elliott Foundation was formed and inspired by the untimely passing of Shannon Elliott, who was survived by two children who were ages 2 and 8 years old at the time of her passing.
Shannon’s immediate family, including her mother, sister, and friends would like her memory to live on, through the Shannon Elliott Foundation.
For those of us who were lucky enough to know Shannon, she was light; and much like a butterfly that needed to fly, yet too delicate to stay with us.
Shannon was a sister, daughter, friend, and mother, and will always be remembered.
In her memory, our Foundations Chairman through tragedy was inspired to write a song about Shannon, titled "Already Gone".
The proceeds from "Already Gone" are pledged to Shannon’s children and will be placed in a fund for their future.
Shannon’s life inspired many, and one individual Ryan Whyte Maloney, a Michigan native, and The Voice finalist brought the song to life.
Already Gone will be available on Spotify and Itunes on October 21, 2022. We will make it available to purchase here as well.
"Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the whole world for one person."
Now you can listen to the song played by the violin and follow along with the lyrics below.

your presence still fills your room, but your spirit left too soon
CHORUS
Maybe I should have prayed a little harder, I coulda Played the hand I was dealt a little smarter… she’d be here Now making new memories, with her Kids fulfilling their hopes and dreams ‘I could Keep on holdin on…. ….but she’s already gone
VERSE 2
‘God I have so many questions What could I have done to make her stay? Why did you take her away? Did I let you down? What did I do wrong? Why couldn’t I take away all her pain? and I was told I was sent to be your angel, but I believe it’s the other way around ya
CHORUS
Maybe I should have prayed a little harder, I coulda Played the hand I was dealt a little smarter… she’d be here Now making new memories, with her Kids fulfilling their hopes and dreams. I could Keep on holdin on…. ….but she’s already gone
VERSE 3
I know you were never good at keeping your promise, but grant me this one final request. Tell God that I did my best to show you the light. One day I will see you in heaven when we can unite.
CHORUS
Maybe I should have prayed a little harder, I coulda Played the hand I was dealt a little smarter… she’d be here Now making new memories, with her Kids fulfilling their hopes and dreams ‘I could Keep on holdin on…. ….but she’s already gone
